We start our series of neighborhood guides with tips for a perfect weekend by our General Manager Dirk Dreyer.
After your check in on Friday afternoon walk over to the TV Tower Berliner Fernsehturm and have a look at Berlin from above. Walk over to Prince for dinner.
Afterwards go for drinks at rivabar around the corner, then move on to the nearby Trust Bar.

On Saturday enjoy a late breakfast at the hotel and then walk two blocks to the Hackescher Markt area. Most of the shops open at noon. Check out Muenzstr., Alte- and Neue Schoenhauser Str. and Rosenthaler Str., this is were all the cafes and boutiques are. It is Gallery Weekend Berlin this weekend - make sure to check out some galleries. Drop your shopping bags at the hotel and then have a walk down the boulevard ‘Unter den Linden’ towards Brandenburger Tor Entdecken for some sight seeing. Dinner at The Grand just some minutes to walk from Hotel indigo.
On Sunday you should rent a bike at the reception. Drive to Prenzlauer Berg and enjoy the fleamarket and the legendary Sonntags Karaoke im Mauerpark at Mauerpark. Then move over direction Kreuzberg, stop at the East Side Gallery and then check out Club der Visionaere “official” and the new White Trаsh Fast Food next door.
