Neighbourhood Story

NEIGHBOURHOOD STORY - Hotel Indigo - Alexanderplatz

‘Urban landscapes in motion’

Sample the flavours of urban Berlin from the luxurious comforts of the Hotel Indigo Alexanderplatz.

Explore the striking accents of our surrounding landscapes, past and present, and see them merge together to form the defining inspiration for our Indigo Hotel’s sleek aesthetics.

From the eye-catching artwork of the iconic TV Tower and the Neptunbrunnen Fountain, through to the more modern accents of conceptual design pieces, our aim is to introduce to you our ‘neighborhood’ centre stage.

Upon entrance, visitors are let in on old, local humour in the shape of the giant ‘Zander’; a wooden fish structure whose head emerges through the gym roof below. Forming the backdrop to these introductions, visitors are then invited to sit and soak up products from the era of times past alongside new, high-end products representative of the buzzing metropole today.

Juxtaposing the echoes of previous times with the influence of the newer, more abstract creative buzz engulfing Alexanderplatz today, this Hotel Indigo remains resoundingly in sync with the pulse of its surroundings.

Close friends to the British Council, Haus des Reisens, the unique Made Space exhibition space and the neighbouring Weekend Club, we are a proud platform for creativity and innovation.

Crisp, conceptual yet communicative, the hotel’s rich and vivacious colour palette - a nod of the head to the daring and debaucherous ‘wild’ 20s in Alexanderplatz - and its open-plan layout, justifies our status as forward-thinking partner to some of the most important movers and shakers in today’s scene.

Visit the Hotel Indigo Alexanderplatz and you, too, can become a part of this thriving neighborhood, be at the helm of Berlin culture and stand proudly on the pulse of the city’s heartbeat.
